Covid 19 Selected research databases

To help inform Icu4covid's staff as well as help researchers and research communities from around the world stay up to date with the latest information on Covid-19. We have compiled a list of selected databases with the most up-to-date academic references on the subject.

 

Materials listed in these databases are selected by the editors of each database. We aim to help create connectivity between professionals, researchers, and medical staff and to help create a conscious and connected scientific community.  The materials listed in these repositories do not necessarily represent the position of the Icu4covid project. These databases are only a window to worldwide academic research and information on the subject.

Clinical Key

An information resource for physicians and medical students. Includes a collection of journal articles, electronic books, practice guidelines, clinical alerts, and drug information.

PubMed

The database includes bibliographic data and abstracts of journal articles on all areas of biomedical research, clinical medicine, and other health sciences.

 

UpToDate

The database includes comprehensive information that answers practical clinical questions.

Ebsco

Provides access to over 25 databases with citations, abstracts, and selected full-text. Includes Complete Academic Search, and other subject-specific resources. It is possible to search multiple databases simultaneously.

Web of Science

Web of Science Core Collection is a multidisciplinary bibliographic database offered through the Web of Science interface, covering journals and conferences worldwide in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities. It includes Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Also includes Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Science and Conference Proceedings Citation Index- Social Science & Humanities.
The database offers cited reference searching; Analyze Tool to identify trends and patterns; Citation Mapping that enables the visual representation of citation relationships; and Citation Report to capture citation activity and trends graphically.

Scopus

Scopus is an abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature. It covers the fields of science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and arts and humanities. It contains peer-reviewed journals (including open access journals), trade publications, book series, conference papers, and “articles-in-press” from a variety of journals and major publishers. Scopus also cross-searches patents from major patent offices.

CDC WHO COVID-19 Databases and Journals

Selected databases by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) with a goal to help researchers find scholarly articles about COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus). These databases are selected by the CDC.

LitCovid

LitCovid is a curated literature hub for tracking up-to-date scientific information about the 2019 novel Coronavirus. The articles are updated daily and are further categorized by different research topics and geographic locations.

Cabells Predatory Reports

Cabells Predatory Reports is a tool for writers and readers to prevent their engagement with predatory open-access journals and publishers. Using over 60 behavioral indicators, Cabell's Predatory Reports helps users determine the quality of a journal and evaluate indicators of violations and deceptive practices.
