Assistive Technology

Our project seeks to assist medical teams in order to save lives. As part of this effort, ICU4COVID develops and implements unique assistive technology systems, designed to facilitate medical staff and help improve the quality and speed of patient care. From this page, you can get to the two flagship developments of the project.

The smart dressing technology is designed for medical teams. It collects data from the environment and about the wearer in real time. This allows medical professionals to receive alerts and track their daily conduct in the intensive care unit and thus manage their time and energy better and smarter.

The robotic arm is placed next to the intensive care unit and helps the medical staff to manage and treat the patient. It is a significant aid in transporting, supporting and holding the patient so that medical professionals can perform complex operations with less effort.
